Transmission on the Tundra broke down on 95, took it to AAMCO in Portsmouth. The customer service was great, Paul the owner took care of my truck in no time. Would recommend this transmission shop to anyone with car problems
AAMCO Picked up my 2004 Chevy Suburban no charge, Diagnosed the problem and had my truck back on the road the next evening. Absolutely the best shop in Seacoast.

Paul is a man of his word who stands behind his product and work. He is honest, knowledgeable and fair. I had the transmission replaced in my truck. It started to experience issues after about a year and Paul did a complete replacement at no charge. I have zero hesitation fully recommending this establishment.
We live in Pennsylvania and were visiting Portsmouth when the transmission in our Town & Country started slipping in 1st and 2nd gear. Paul diagnosed the problem as soon as the tow truck dropped it off. A replacement tranny was required. Paul found one and arranged to have it shipped to the shop. Paul drove us to Hertz to get a rental until the transmission was replaced. As soon as the transmission arrived at the shop, it was replaced immediately and we were able to pick up the van the next day. I highly recommend this shop and Paul. He is professional, personable, friendly. Plus, the final cost was less than his initial quote!
